Calculation will run with almost 2-fold (Dual Core) or 4-fold (Quad-Core) the speed.
Calculation will run up to 16-fold the speed. (Requires multiple networked sufficient PCs; Special Installation knowledge required.)

This number is used as a reference in sources (sit.); it has to be considered when inserting or deleting rows.
Statistical data of dispersion categories, which can be present as a file with the extension AKS, can be selected in a dialog. If no statistical data of dispersion category is selected (enter the word "zero" in the file name), a constant west-wind is assumed. This enables the determination of ambient air concentration for single episodes.
Set the relative time share for a dispersion situation here. The sum of the time shares in the table will be standardized to 100 % automatically. At leats one situation has to be defined.
If different types of times of operations are to be considered, the total time (1 year) is to be divided into segments with all related sources linked to the segments. The short time characteristics are different for casesemit with simultaneous emissions and emissions in different time shares.

Sample A Two Sources, which emitt in different times. Source A is active 60% of the year and the Source B is active 20% of the year. 20% of the year is without activity.
Source A and B and Situation A, B and C are to be defined. Source 1 is to be linked to Situation A and Source 2 is to be linked to Situation B. Situation C has to be defined, but stays unlinked. |
|
Sample B Two Sources; Source 1 emits 60% of the year and Source 2 emits 20% of the year, and that simultaneously with Source 1. 40% of the year is without activity.
3 Sources are to be defined. Source 1A is to be linked to Situation A, Source 1B to Situation B and Source 2 is to be linked to Situation B. Situation C has to be defined, but stays referenced. |
To determine which Concentration Array is to be calculated and linked with which Source, one can compare the sets of Concentration Array Parameters used for each combination of Source and Situation. Only unique Concentration Arrays are to be calculated.
The number matrix of the statistical data of dispersion category can be preceded with one or more text lines.
Choose one of two available formats for statistical data of dispersion category.
Checkbox to mark a statistical data of dispersion category as a description for precipitation episodes.
Any name for an episode can be set here (must not contain blanks). These names can be selected in sources. Internally NR is still the reference.

The Situations are stored in an ASCII file with the Extension AMS. This table can also be produced outside of the program. It must have the following line by line structure:
All numeric entries are unformatted, and must have a blank as a delimiter, and must use the dot as decimal characters. For each characteristic calculation one must define at least one dispersion situation.
